Recover your account

DRIVUNO is zero-knowledge: your files are encrypted on your device with keys we never see. That means recovery requires one of the secrets you saved at signup. The assistant on the right helps you figure out which one to use — without ever asking for the secret itself.

The three recovery paths

1. Recovery Key

The long base32 code shown once right after signup. If you saved it on paper or in a password manager, this is the fastest path.

Go to /recover → Recovery Key.
Enter your email → click Send reset email.
Open the email, set a new password, then return.
Paste your Recovery Key + the new password.

2. Secondary email + Email Security Code

Only works if you added a backup email at signup and saved the "Email Security Code" displayed at that moment. Use this page if your Recovery Key is lost but your backup email + code are safe.

3. Phone (SMS) + SMS Security Code

Same logic, with a phone number and the "SMS Security Code". SMS provider currently disabled — please use methods 1 or 2.

No back door. If you lost your password and all three recovery secrets, your encrypted files cannot be restored — not even by the DRIVUNO team. This is the zero-knowledge guarantee. The assistant cannot bypass it.
